Wayne Burdette Prestage, 68, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 5th, 2022, surrounded by his family at his place of residence after a lengthy illness. A Memorial Service will be held at 10am Friday, February 11, 2022 with a Visitation one hour prior at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. 4125 Orleans Avenue, Sioux City, IA.

Wayne was born on September 29, 1953 to Walter and Mary Prestage in Sioux City, Iowa.

Wayne had a life full of love, adventure and travel alongside his lifelong soul mate and wife, Pamela Prestage. Wayne and Pam were blessed with 5 children. He had a successful career in HVAC and boiler engineering. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix.

He was a true outdoorsman. He was happiest while camping, fishing, hiking and making precious memories with his family. He loved the Lord, the Denver Broncos and a good bonfire.

Wayne was a loving, supportive and loyal husband; father, brother, uncle, and friend. There wasn't a person he wouldn't help.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Pamela Prestage; four children James Farley (Kellie), Stacey Farley (Brian), Jessica Prestage and Sarah Prestage (Ashley); brothers Tom Prestage and Greg Hansen; sister Carmella Love; grandchildren Elijah, Jazmin, Elizabeth, Kylee, Abby, Jordan, Jason, Jenna and Jude; great-grandchildren Miles, Venus, Zeke, and Leighton.

Wayne was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Mary Prestage; son Jason Farley; brother Karl Prestage; brothers-in-law Sonny, Gene, Matthew and Mark Dawdy.
