William W.  "Bill" Christiansen, 62 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Monday, June 20 at his home. Upon Bill's request there will be no services.

William ‘Bill’ was born September 22, 1959 in Sioux City Iowa, the son of Lester and Lorraine (Bernard) Christiansen. He was the last born of ten children. He grew up in North Sioux City and attended Jefferson High School. Over the years, Bill worked proudly for Metz Baking Company (Old Home). Bill took care of his mother in her later years.

He enjoyed drinking beer, watching the Hawkeyes and listening to good music. He had a heart of gold. Bill taught his daughters many valuable life lessons and loved his big extended family.

Survivors include his two daughters, Jessica (Branden) Henneous and Angie (Travis) Hamman; five grandchildren, Joel, Beau, Dane, Austin and Elexis; special niece, Renee; siblings, Ray (Nola) Christiansen, Sherry (Dick) Connors, Joanie Christiansen, Mike (Patty) Christiansen, Randy (Linda) Christiansen, Chris Nelson, Gail (Tuna) Schoepf, Marlene (Dave) Fornia and Tammy (Kirk) Estergaard; countless nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joe; brother-in-law, Jim Nelson; two nephews, Jeff Christiansen and Alex Nelson.
