William M. Morton, 60, of Sioux City, IA, passed away April 13, 2024.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.  There will be a graveside service at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee, IA.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Bill was born on April 22, 1963, in Cherokee, IA to Eugene and Joann (Meister) Morton.  He graduated from East High School and worked various jobs throughout Sioux City.  He also served in the United States Marine Corps.  Bill enjoyed playing the guitar, watching the Kansas City Chiefs play, doing puzzles, and gardening.  He especially loved spending time with family.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Shane Morton; brother, Daniel Morton; nephew Mike (Jill) Fink; niece Stacey (Taylor) Lawrence; nephew Derek (Lexi) Davis; niece, Kaylee Morton; nephew Jacob Morton; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Joann Morton, his sister Jean Fink, brother-in-law Robert Fink, and sister-in-law Melody Morton.
