William ‘Bill’ Huffman, 80, of Merrill, Iowa, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, November 18, 2024 at a Sioux City Hospital. Bill knocked on Heavens doors. Per his wishes, there will be no services. Waterbury Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bill was born February 6, 1944 in Sioux City, Iowa where he grew up and attended Catholic Schools. He and Leta have been married for over 50 years. Bill worked in automotive his entire life. He was a paint and body man for years. When he was younger, he enjoyed fishing and boating.

Those living to embrace his memories include his wife, Leta; son, Russell (Sherri) Huffman and three daughters, Christine Simon, Veronica Huffman and Joleen (Monte) Delutri; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents.
