William C. Dorrah, Sr., 75 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Monday, June 20,2022 at a local hospital, surrounded by his family. Services will be held from 5-7:30pm with time of sharing at 6pm Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Navy.

William was born November 24, 1946 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Ivan and Gladys (Benson) Dorrah. He joined the Navy in 1964 and served during the Vietnam War. William married Jeanette Teran September 30, 1969. He worked at John Morrell for over 20 years, retiring in 2009.

William used to be a soccer coach for East High School. He enjoyed fishing & hunting with his family, woodworking and landscaping.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette; a son, William (Kelly Ryan) Dorrah Jr.and a daughter, Stephanie Nice; two grandchildren, Alexis Wilde (Scott Albrant) and Lathan Dorrah; three great-grandchildren, Korra Wilde, Reyes Wilde and Nyx Albrant; four sisters, Linda (Richard) Hirchert, Yvonne Dorrah, Mary Kay Harper and Karrie Porter.
