Wesley “Wes” Paul Webb, 43, of Sioux City, IA, passed away April 10, 2025 due to a trucking accident. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, April 24 at 6:00 p.m., with a visitation from 4-6:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Wes was born on June 25, 1981 in Sioux City, IA to Douglas Webb and Marilyn (Kelsey) Webb. He graduated from Hinton High School and enlisted in the United States Marines, which he served until, he was honorably discharged. He worked as a truck driver for several companies throughout Siouxland. When he was younger, he played football and wrestled for Hinton High School and was involved in 4-H. While in the Marines he served in Iraq during “Operation Iraqi Freedom” and received a good conduct medal as well as numerous other awards. He enjoyed family gatherings and hanging out with friends. His greatest love was his daughter, Kylie, and he cherished the time he spent with her.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Kylie Jean Webb; father, Douglas (Lori McClaren) Webb; mother, Marilyn Kelsey; siblings: Josh (Lindsey) Hebert, Shelby (Seth) Smith, and Emma Webb; grandma, Jeanette Kelsey; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandpa and paternal grandparents.
