Wayne Campbell, 90, of Sioux City, IA passed away at his home with his family present, Tuesday, February 20, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held 6pm Friday, March 1, 2024 at Morningside Bible Church.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Wayne was born on November 3, 1933 to William and Evelyn (Iverson) Campbell in Sioux City, Iowa.  He grew up in Sioux City and married Geraldine Hicks on October 28, 1955. They were blessed with three children. Wayne served with the United States Army. Wayne liked to help others serving at the local food pantries and fixing things around church. He enjoyed fixing small engines. He learned to cook after he retired and loved it even expressing that he believed that he cooked better than his wife! Wayne has a great and “warped” sense of humor. He became a Christian at the age of 70.

Wayne is survived by his children: Barbara Shaurette of Dubuque, IA, Elizabeth (David) Stultz, of Sioux City, IA, and Wayne "Tick" (Cathy) Campbell, of Brandon, MS; her sister-in-law, Frances Pearson of Vancoover, WA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
