Wayne Wesley Anderson, 69, of Homer, NE, passed away March 21, 2025, in Omaha, NE.  A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 27 at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.

Wayne was born on January 4, 1956, in Sioux City, IA to Eugene and Joyce (Sandbloom) Anderson.  He graduated from North High School.  Wayne worked as a manager for the South Sioux City Hy-Vee for many years.  He owned and operated his bar, Wayne’s World in Homer, NE and was also a member of the Homer Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years.  Wayne was an avid Greenbay Packers fan, enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughters: Kristi (Devin) Meints and Misti (Brandon) Lantz; grandchildren: Evan, Landon, Holden, and Korelai; siblings: Gary (Diana) Anderson, Cathy Stevens, and Wendy Clarey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-laws: Fred and Doyle.
