Warren Allen Spencer, 72, of Salix, IA, passed away surrounded by his family on November 19, 2024, at his residence.  A memorial service will be held Monday, November 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior at Salix United Methodist Church.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Warren was born on November 6, 1952, in Onawa, IA to Gilbert and Lillian (Anderson) Spencer.  He graduated from Sergeant Bluff high school in 1971 and was united in marriage to Diane Haakinson on October 4, 1971.  Warren worked as a supervisor for Gelita USA Inc. for 35 years before he retired in 2011.  He was a member of Salix United Methodist Church and enjoyed working on cars, golfing and yardwork.  Warren and Diane loved spending time together riding trikes and wintering in Florida.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Diane Spencer; sons: Matthew (Nicole) Spencer and Clint (Lara) Spencer; grandchildren: Jacob, Ava, Wyatt and Liv; and a brother, Gilbert Jr. (Elaine) Spencer.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
