Wanda E. Mosier, 81, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Morningside Lutheran Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Church. Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City is assisting the family with arrangements.

Wanda was born January 17, 1939 at Laurens, Iowa the daughter of J. Luverne and Velma (Keele) Smith. She went to Leeds High School until her junior year. Her family moved to Sioux Falls, SD in 1955. She graduated in 1957 from Sioux Falls High School. Wanda continued her education at Nettleton Business School, receiving her Accounting Degree in 1958. Wanda married Larry Mosier on August 24, 1958 in Sioux Falls, SD, they later divorce in 1972.

Over the years Wanda worked at Kalin’s Fashion and Furs, Tractor Supply Co., while living in Sioux City. She moved to Mason City and worked for Iowa Kemper/Economy Insurance and Air Care Inc. until retiring in 2011. In 2013 she moved back to Sioux City to be with her family.

She is survived by her children; Van (Wendy) Mosier of Battle Creek, IA., Dawn (Ray) Kelly of Sioux City, IA., Drew (Karen) Mosier of Hull, IA., Thane (Angie) Mosier of Lawton, IA., two brothers, Stanley (Beverly) Smith, of Pennsylvania and Bradley (Mary) Smith, of Ashley, ND., 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, numerous dear family members, and friends.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Gary.
