Virginia M. Wensel, 95, of South Sioux City, NE passed away on December 3, 2023.  A funeral service will be held Friday, December 8 at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Virginia was born on November 18, 1928, in Sioux City to Frank and Minnie McGinnis.  She graduated from high school and went on to start her family, having 3 children.  She was a loving mother and homemaker.  She enjoyed going to craft shows and outings at Continental Springs.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Susan Wensel (Art Vondrak), of South Sioux City, NE.

She is preceded in death by her parents and children, Tim and Brenda.
