Vincent “Vince” Kvidera, 90, of Sgt. Bluff, IA passed away October 5, 2023, at a local nursing home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Mater Dei Parish-Church of The Nativity.  Visitation will be Monday from 4-6:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.  Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Anthon, IA.

Vince was born on December 25, 1932, in Anthon, IA to John and Loretta (Coyne) Kvidera.  He graduated from Anthon High School and was drafted into the United States Army and was later honorably discharged.  He was a member of Nativity Catholic Church and enjoyed golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Jason (Gina) Kvidera, Sgt. Bluff, IA; sister, Ann Dunn, Sioux City, IA; grandchildren: Kellen, Madison, Brianna and Brody.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Joe, Bernard, Fred, Cyril and Dennis Kvidera; and a sister, Catherine Nieman.
