Victor A. Mar, 54, of South Sioux City, Nebraska died Monday, November 9, 2020 at a local hospital. Memorial Services will be 3:00 PM Friday, November 13 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Victor was born March 26, 1966 in Magozal Veracruz, Mexico the son of Antioco and Clara (Clemente)  Mar. He grew up in Mexico and moved to the United States in 1990. Victor married Idalia DeLaO in November of 1992. Together they made their home in South Sioux City.

Over the years, Victor worked throughout the Siouxland area. He loved spending time with his family, cooking and attending to them as much as he could. Victor also liked watching the Kansas City Chiefs and enjoyed watching soccer. His favorite team was America.

Survivors include his wife, Idalia; 4 children, Victor A. Mar Jr., Marco A. Mar, Miguel A. Mar and M. Emmanuel Mar; mother, Clara Mar; 9 siblings, Clara Luz Mar, Maria Yannet, Carlos F. Mar, Apolonio Mar, Aurora Mar, Santos Mar, Gabriel Mar, Baldomero Mar and Yajaeria Mar.

He is preceded in death by his father.
