Jean Euchner, 78, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Embassy Rehab & Care Center in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.
Vernice Jean Clemon was born on September 8, 1947, in Onawa, Iowa, she was known simply as Jean by all those who knew and loved her. Her parents were Vernon and Agnes (Norby) Clemon.
A graduate of East Monona High School, Jean attended Iowa State University for a short time before later earning a Business Degree from Western Iowa Tech College. Married to Steven Rieff in September of 1967, they had one son, David, before divorcing in 1992.
In July of 2000, she was united in marriage to Michael Euchner and became a proud stepmother to Michael, Peighton and Wesley. Jean worked as a secretary for the Onawa Chamber of Commerce during the 1990’s and from 2000 to 2020 she was the office manager for PC Repairs in Ida Grove, a business owned by husband, Michael.
She found much joy in her beloved past times of sewing, quilting, and playing the piano. Always a little sarcastic, she was quick witted and loved a good joke.
Jean is survived by her husband, Michael, son, David (Lisa) of Omaha, and their three daughters; Carlyle, Abigail, and Josalyn, stepsons, Michael of Fort Dodge and Wesley of Le Mars, her brothers, Marc, Wayne and Lee Clemon and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepdaughter, Peighton.
