Obituary

Ulysses O. Fatland, 51 of Veblen, SD passed away Sunday, September11, 2022 at a hospital in South Dakota. Services will be held 10:00am Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at All Nations Church in Macy, Ne. Burial will be in Omaha Tribal Cemetery.

Ulysses Obadiah Fatland was born on February 28, 1971, in Winnebago, Nebraska, the son of Ronald James Fatland and Patricia Darlene Grant. He worked for Boone Brothers Roofing as a roofer installer.

Ulysses was a good guy. He loved telling stories and making people laugh and being crazy! He was a hard worker and loved by many.

He loved his children, grandchildren, siblings, cousins and all of his friends and family. His nieces and nephews looked up to him and he always had a way of putting a smile on their faces. He will be missed by many and greeted by many relatives in Heaven. We will always miss you brother. You were a great brother, dad, uncle, cousin, nephew and grandpa. Love from all of us. Journey well, until we see you again.

Ulysses is survived by his children; Margarita A. Vega, Michael J. Jepsen (Jessie), Samuel N. Jepsen and Dominique Darlene Fatland, six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, two brothers, Dan Eittreim and Cosey Coleson, two sisters, Linda Cantu and Rhonda Fatland, lifelong family member, Lynn Pretends Eagle, and girlfriend, Latisha Stavic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, David Eittreim, Paul Blader and Lorne Fatland.
