Tyler Drum, 63, of South Sioux City, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026.
Tyler was born on October 17, 1962, in Hawthorne, California, to Ted and Sally (Piper) Drum. He graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1981.
He married his high school sweetheart, Roxann Jane (Hover) Drum, and together they built a life centered around love, laughter, and family. Through this union, they were blessed with four children: Skyler Michael (February 1982), Kayla Marie (October 19, 1986—too stubborn to share a birthday with her dad), Taylor Lawrence (July 1990), and their beloved youngest son, Teddy Lyle Drum (December 1991), who preceded him in death.
Tyler left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a hardworking man, an amazing husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. His greatest pride was his family, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
He is survived by the love of his life, Roxann Drum; his children, Skyler (Shantel) Drum, Kayla (Blake) Stahlecker, and Taylor (Jen) Drum; and his treasured grandchildren: Keira, Aiden, Braxton, Bryson Tyler, Linkin Tyler, Tyson, Jayce, Kamdyn,Austin, Angelina, Liliana.
He is also survived by his parents, Ted and Sally Drum; his sisters, Karen, Chrissy, and Missy; his brothers-in-law, Fred and Keith Hover; and many nieces and nephews.
Tyler was preceded in death by his son, Teddy Lyle Drum, and his precious granddaughter, Brynlee Jane Kimberly Stahlecker.
In honoring Tyler’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to gather, share memories, and honor the life he lived.
Tyler will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his love of fishing, and his lifelong devotion to the Chicago Bears. He will be missed beyond measure and forever held in the hearts of those who loved him.
