Troy M. “Blue” Taylor, 59 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away December 28, 2022. Services will be held 11 am Monday, January 9, 2023, at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Troy was born January 2, 1963, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Richard Taylor and Judith (Thurber) Richardson. He graduated from the Faith Christian High School in Moline. Troy's love for the open road led him to drive truck for most of his working career but settled down working for Seaboard Triumph Foods in warehouse shipping and receiving.

He enjoyed watching football and was avid Bears fan. Troy loved to ride his Harley and take trips back home to ride with childhood friends. Troy was an avid and competitive dart player. Kerry and Troy enjoyed going out to the movies and would often go for walks afterwards, play games of pool and or darts.

Troy is survived by his stepdad, Ralph Richardson, two sons, Kerry and Korey Taylor, three brothers, Ted, Todd (Inga) Taylor, and stepbrother, Alan Richardson.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Judith, and father Richard Taylor.
