Tracy Jacobson, age 57, lifelong resident of Sioux City died peacefully in his home December 29, 2016.

Memorial service will be held2:00pm Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff, 400 4th Street. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Tracy was born July 4, 1959 in Sioux City. He was married to Lorraine Dickman May 28, 1983 and from that union was blessed with two children Larissa and Joe. They divorced in 2001 but remained good friends.

Tracy worked at Chesterman for 16 years and Mercy Medical Center as a courier for 12 years. Most recently he worked at the Convention Center part time until his health failed. He enjoyed watching Oakland Raiders football and playing golf as Tracy was an excellent golfer.

Tracy is survived by his beloved children, his daughter Larissa (her husband, Tanner) Corbin and his grandson Waylon James; his son Joseph; his sister Debra Renae Hardgraves and his brother Rick (his wife Patti) Jacobson; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins; and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents James Eugene and Claudette Carol Jacobson.
