Tracy started his journey to the spirit world on January 5, 2026 at his home surrounded by many who loved him in Sioux City, IA. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Oyate Oynke Community Center in Santee, NE. Burial will follow at Congregational Cemetery in Santee, NE. Visitation will begin Tuesday, January 6 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Indian Mission, then continue at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oyate Oynke Community Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Tracy Ray Fields was born into this world on July 1, 1970 in Sioux City, Iowa. He was raised by his mother, Ramona Frazier. Having been born with spina bifida he did not let that define him and lived a full life. Tracy had a big heart and loved deeply. He cherished his nieces and nephews like his own children. Tracy enjoyed spending time with his family, drinking coffee, and smoking cigarettes. He loved fishing, and was a champion pool player. He loved BMX bicycles and gaming.
He was a Nebraska Husker super fan. He was an artist and he loved to paint and craft with stained glass. He enjoyed playing cards especially poker and cribbage.
Tracy will be greeted in the spirit world by his mother Ramona Frazier, brothers Jason and Joey Fields, Robert Frazier, and his sisters Margaret Frazier and Carol Starr along with many other relatives.
