Services for Tony Hernandez will be held 10 am Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Cathedral of the Epiphany. Burial will be in McCook Cemetery in North Sioux City, South Dakota. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Monday at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. A Vigil Service will be held at 7 pm Monday evening.

Jose “Tony” Hernandez was born on January 29, 1983 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Tony graduated from West High School in Sioux City. During January of 2008, Tony was united in marriage to Cecilia Alas.

Tony had worked as a supervisor at Tyson Foods from 2001 to 2015. Currently he was working as a machinery operator at Feed Energy.

Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Since his school days he continued playing soccer over the years. Tony was a loving father and husband; he really loved cookouts with his family and other activities. Tony was a very friendly person with lots of friends. He was a humble person with a huge heart and was very giving towards others.

Tony is survived by his wife Cecilia, his children Angel, Xander, Antony and Alexis, his parents Antonio Hernandez and Maria de los Angeles Franco, his brothers Noel Hernandez and Israel Hernandez and his sister, Lizeth Hernandez.
