Tonie Hodgins passed away on Tuesday, May 6th after a short illness. A celebration of life will be held 11:00am Saturday, June 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, followed by a luncheon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Tonie was born to Paul and Margo (Marilyn) Hodgins on March 8, 1974, in Sioux City, Iowa. She attended East High School. She worked at Matney’s Colonial Nursing Home in Morningside, MCI Call Center, and later in her life was a nanny for a few families. Tonie enjoyed time with her family and having fun.

She is survived by her mother, Margo of Sioux City, IA, two sisters; Tamie (Glen) Farrer and Tracie Reeves (Larry Peterson) of Sioux City, IA, 3 nieces; Shelby Farrer (Dan VanderVeen) of Pierce, NE, Dakota Farrer (Evan Kraemer) of Colorado Springs, CO, LeeAnn Reeves (Tyler Bellis) of Fort Worth, TX, one nephew, Jonh Paul Reeves of Sioux City, IA, one great niece, Chloe Bellis of Fort Worth, TX,  number of aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins.

Tonie was preceded in death by her father, Paul, and her grandparents Dan and Irene Hodgins, John and Ruth Ludwigs, Carl and Jenny Johnson.
