Tina Marie Sargent-Mercado, 44, of Sioux City, IA, passed away November 23, 2023, at a local hospital.  A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 1 from 11-1:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Tina was born on November 11, 1979, in Iowa City, IA. to LeRoy and Jura (Williams) Norgart. She was united in marriage to Jeff Sargent and to this union they had 3 children. Tina loved spending time with her family and having bon fires.  She especially loved her granddaughter. She enjoyed going on vacation to the beach and looking for seashells, shopping, and being with her 2 dogs Mimi and Max.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Justice, Jessica and Jeff Sargent Jr.; grandchildren: Jazlyn Lopez, and Lilly and James Scarff; sister, Nicki Haire; brother, Johnny Myers; her partner, Kelly Upton, nieces and nephews: Jason Jr., Araya, Cayden, Brayden and Jaelyn; and great-niece, JaMaryana.

She is preceded in death by her parents; great grandparents; and sister, Chasity.
