Tina M. (Maaske) Bauer, 49, of Sioux City, passed away on May 6, 2020. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Tina was born on December 4, 1970 in Sioux City, the daughter of Willard Duane and Patsy (Nelson) Maaske. She graduated from North High School in 1989. Tina married Mick Bauer and together they had one daughter, Hailey. Tina and Mick later divorced.

Tina has worked for Aalfs Manufacturing, Josh's Pits Stop, Pech Optical, Taco Johns, and most recently Gerkin Windows, leaving due to illness. Tina was an avid softball player and fan. She was awarded the Iowa Girls' High School Athletic Unions 100 Game Achievers Pitchers Hall of Fame. Tina loved spending time with family and friends, going to visit her mom in the nursing home, attending stock car races, bowling, McCook Lake, and camping.

Survivors include her mother, Patsy Maaske; daughter, Hailey Bauer; significant other, Dustin Blackford; brother, Duane (Shawna) Maaske; sister, Mary (Ricky Hartnett) Maaske; and her canine furbabies, Precious and Charlie.

Tina was preceded in death by her dad, Willard "Duane" Maaske; and significant other, Craig "Rocket" Chinn.
