Timothy L. Leander, 64 of Sioux City, died Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Graveside service will be held 3:00pm Friday, March 25 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Tim was born on January 31, 1958 in Sioux City, the son of Leroy and Gladys (Morgan) Leander. He worked at PBX and BPI as a driver, and later on the production line at Interbake Foods. Most recently he was a railroad crew driver for PTI.

Tim enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing. He loved to spend time with his family, and was known as “Uncle Buck”.

Tim is survived by his sons Jeffrey (Mattie) Leander of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Josh (Lori) Leander of Marion, Iowa, daughter Jessica Egbert of Del Tona, Florida, four grandchildren, his sister, Judith (Paul) McKnight of Sioux City and brothers Ronald (Wrenn) Leander of Rapid City, South Dakota, Thomas (Brenda) Leander of Sioux City, and Jean Leander.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul Leander.
