Thomas "Tommy" LeRoy Leander Jr., 35, of Sioux City, IA, passed away May 22, 2025.  A celebration of his life will be held Friday, May 30 starting at 4:30 p.m., at Bacon Creek Park - Shelter #1.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Tommy was born on March 20, 1990, in Sioux City, IA to Thomas Sr. and Brenda (Kotz) Leander.  He attended East High School and in his younger years he enjoyed playing baseball and football.  Tommy worked at Bob Roes, Hy-Vee, and with his dad doing carpentry.  He was a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed fishing, golfing, basketball, and playing video games.  He especially loved watching his nephews play sports.

Those left to honor his memory include his dad, Tom Leander Sr.; siblings: Matthew, Marcus (Marrisa), and Ronna Cason; nieces and nephews: Noah, Avery, Ethan, Landon, Austin, and Daxton; and several aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Brenda Leander.
