Thomas G. Larsen, 52, of Sioux City, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at Touchstone Living Center.
Services will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Erpelding officiating. A visitation will be held from 4-8 with family present from 6-8 and a prayer service at 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Tom was born on April 16, 1963 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of John and Betty (Mingo) Larsen. He attended Bishop Heelan Catholic High School and attended Western Iowa Tech for welding. Tom has been a welder and a diesel mechanic, but his last job was as a waiter at Harvey’s, where he loved his customers.
Tom loved his motorcycle, going fishing, his vegetable garden, and most importantly, he loved his three sons. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include his significant other Shasta Streets of Sioux City, his sons: Shawn (Deana) Johnson of Sioux City, Wesley Curtis and Thomas Larsen of the home, brothers: Jeff (Barb) Larsen of Florida and John (Lil) Larsen of McCook Lake, sisters: Judy (Kenny Geppert) Irons of McCook Lake, Marilyn (Jim) Marriott of Omaha, NE, Karen (Charlie) Rothe of Sioux City, and Kathy (Chuck Healy) Larsen of Minnesota, grandchildren: Drake and Delaney Johnson, and many other family members.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and niece Kimberly.
