Thomas “Tom” Clayton Lillie, 84, of Sioux City, IA, passed away May 31, 2025, at a local hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 13, from 1-4 p.m. at the Sioux City Elks Lodge, 1001 Tri View Avenue, Sioux City, IA. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
   
   Tom was born on April 19, 1941, in Le Mars, IA to Robert and Leota (Groetken) Lillie. He graduated from Central High School and enlisted into the United States Navy, before being honorably discharged. He was united in marriage to Sharon Ward on October 24, 1986, in Sioux City. Together they enjoyed camping in Platte Creek, SD for over 20 years. Tom worked for the Carpenter’s Union and in maintenance for John Morell. He was a hard worker and when he retired, he was able to do more hunting and fishing. He enjoyed sports, especially NASCAR and Nebraska football.
  
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Sharon Lillie; children: Mary (Tony) Fowers, Steve (Beth) Lillie, James (Nikki) Merrill; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Robert Joe Lillie, Sandra Graves, Amelia Jones, Marlene Scalf, Mike Lillie, Ken Lillie, Susan Sands, Bill Peterson, and Larry Peterson.
   
   He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Shelly Lillie; and brothers: John and Warren.
