Theresa Lynn (Nolen) Jovanovic, 46 of Sioux City, died Monday, September 8, 2014 at a local hospital.

Memorial Services will be held 7 pm Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff. Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 pm at the funeral home in Sergeant Bluff.

Theresa was born on September 10, 1967 in Sioux City, the daughter of James and Marjorie (Cooper) Nolen. She had attended West High School.

In 2000, she met Willie Brown. They moved to Colorado in 2001 and returned to Sioux City in 2011. Most recently she was employed at the Argosy Casino until its closing.
She enjoyed hiking, playing Putt Putt golf and bowling. She loved her favorite dog, a Beagle named "Toby".

Theresa is survived by her significant other, Willie Brown; her two sons, Michael Jovanovic and his significant other Chancy Williams, and Shawn Jovanovic and his significant other Rosanna Richard, all of Sioux City; five brothers, Jim (Jodi) Nolen, Jr., of McCook Lake, South Dakota, Joseph (Cindy) Nolen of Sioux City, Richard (Marie) Nolen of Sioux City, David (Judy) Nolen of Wilson, North Carolina an Michael (Lori) Rose of Sioux City; one sister, Barbara (Dennis) Hageman of Sioux City; two grandchildren, Hunter and Lilyana; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and one nephew, Corey Nolen.
