Terry "Goose" D. Giese Sr.

Terry “Goose” Dale Giese Sr., 67, of Sioux City, IA, passed away November 24, 2025 at a local care center. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Terry was born on August 5, 1958 in Sioux City, IA to Henry and Delores (Marks) Giese. He was a triplet, of 11 kids. He graduated from North high school. He was united in marriage to Linda Giese from August 7, 1979 until 2002. Terry worked at IBP packing plant until he was injured in 1987. He enjoyed helping friends and was a great mechanic, carpenter, and quick with math problems. He loved helping his children and was always helping someone in need. He will be loved and missed by many.

Those left to honor his memory include his children: Kim (Greg Parker) Webster, TJ (Kirsten) Giese, Gina (Vicki Hughes) Giese; grandchildren: Christian (Abbey Feller) Peirson, Josh Lenninger, Jonathan Webster, Skyler and Aaron Geary; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings: Gary Moore, Gene Marks, Henry Giese, Romona Rygh, Sherry Roach, Marcia McGuire, Debbie Jones, and Brenda Svatos.

He is laid to rest with his parents and sister, Tama Wittmaack and infant sister at birth.
