Terrance "TJ" Johnson, 76 of Lawton, Iowa passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at a local hospital. Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4pm Sunday, June 30, 2024, at the American Legion Hall in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.

Terry was born November 6, 1947, in Redfield, South Dakota to Victor and Miriam (Mc Ewen) Johnson. He graduated in 1965 from East High School. Terry married Kathy Anderson. He was a private pilot and worked on the instruments, multi engines, and jet ratings. Terry later went to work for Mid America, Dr. Jones, Great West, Long Lines, and then Gateway retiring in 2001. In his retirement years Terry worked as a courtesy driver for Sioux City Ford.

He enjoyed going boating. Terry was a life member of the NRA, Hawkeye rifle and pistol club of Sergeant Bluff and a former President of the Missouri Boat Club. Early in his flying career he worked at the Air Way Service.

Terry is survived by his two daughters, Kari (Troy Reynolds, Sr.) Chamberlain, Jennifer Johnson, brother, Rodney Johnson, sister-in-law, Marilyn Susie, niece, Tracy baker, and four grandchildren, Casey (Lindsey Conlon) Harker, Mason Harker, Kilana Houghton, Tori Reynolds and one great grandchild, Vailey Harker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Jessilyn Johnson, Kathy Johnson, sister-in-law, Joyce Johnson and brother-in-law, Don Susie.
