Teresa Lynn Andersen

Teresa L. Andersen, 60, of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026 at a local hospital. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Teresa was born January 23, 1966 in Sioux City, Iowa she was the daughter of Larry and Clara (Brubaker) Marryman. Teresa was raised in Sergeant Bluff and attended Sergeant Bluff High School. On April 28, 2006 she married Richard Andersen. She was a very kind and generous person.

She work in manufacturing at the plastic plant, helped care for her mother, and later she would help her husband though the years.

Teresa loved spending time with the grandchildren even though they tested her quite often. She enjoyed to traveling to the Black Hills of South Dakota.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; son, Matthew Larson; mother, Clara Merryman; brother, Bradley (Dustyne) Merryman; sister, Brenda (Blake) Saxen; and two grandchildren: Braxton, Sawyer.

Teresa is preceded in death by her father, Larry, and her grandparents.
