Tammy L. Brown, 57, of South Sioux City, Nebraska passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 at her home in South Sioux City.

Services will be held 4:00pm Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.

Tammy was born July 28, 1962 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Howard and Shirley (Bennett) Watterson and was raised by Richard and Shirley Spray. She grew up in Sioux City, graduating from the Sioux City Public Schools. Tammy continued her education in Rockwall Texas. She married Elson Brown and together they remained in Texas for 35 years. They later divorced. Over the years, Tammy was employed by various banks and credit unions. Tammy returned to the Sioux City area in 2018 and worked for Triple Crown and Hardrock Casinos.

Tammy made friends wherever she went. She loved her cats and traveling. She also made the best French toast.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tiffany (Michael) Palacios of Rockwall, TX, son, Travis Brown and spouse in California and bonus son, Justin (Alyssa) Watterson of North Sioux City, SD; mother, Shirley Spray of Sioux City; siblings, Christine (Leroy) Marsh of Sioux City, Rip (Liz) Watterson of Sioux City, Jon (Cindy) Spray of Texas, Wanita (Chris) Twito, grandchildren, Noah, Madi, Emma, Sam, Gabe, Zella, Paige and Paisley; special uncle, Butch Bennett of Denver, CO; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Watterson Sr. and her dad, Richard Spray.
