Susan Lynn Lisle

Susan Lynn Lisle, 77, of Sioux City, IA, passed away surrounded by her family on February 12, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, February 28 from 11-1:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Susan was born on June 22, 1948 in Sioux City, IA to Wilford and Dorothy (Money) Triggs. She graduated from Central high School and was united in marriage to Dale Lisle on March 18, 1967.

Susan worked at a variety of places throughout Sioux City. She worked as a jailer, at the concession stand at Bacon Creek for 8 years, as a cook for a daycare and at Sneaky’s for 9 years. Susan was a wonderful mother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Susan enjoyed traveling, especially to her and Dale's favorite locations, which included Hawaii and their annual trips to Baby Lake, Minnesota.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Dale Lisle; sons: Aaron (Michelle) Lisle and Darreck (Michele) Lisle; grandchildren: Darian, Austin, Christian, and Hunter; great-granddaughter, Willow.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Roger and Bill and sisters: Amaryllis, Elizabeth and Carolyn.
