Susan Kay Anderson, 64, of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Touchstone Living Center.

A reception to celebrate Susan’s life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Riverside Park in Sioux City, at shelter #3 from 5-7pm for all friends and family wishing to pay their respects. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.


Susan was born on June 22, 1950 in Sioux City, the daughter of Bruce and Marilyn (Kirk) Robertson.
She graduated from Central High School in Sioux City.


Susan married Mark Hanson on January 23, 1969 and to this union, two children were born, Todd and Troy. They later divorced.


Susan enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren. She also loved to play board games and cards with her sisters.


Susan attended Riverside Lutheran Church.


Survivors include her son, Todd Hanson and his wife Nancy of Norwalk, Iowa and their children: Seth, Isabel, Isaiah, and Sam, son, Troy Hanson and his wife Barbie of Omaha, Nebraska and they are expecting twins, brothers: Dennis Robertson and his wife Liz of Onawa, Larry Robertson of Sioux City, and Steve Robertson and his wife Lissa of New Mexico, and sister Pam Robertson of Sioux City.


Susan was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Cheryl Banys.
