Steven Jay Hough, 60, of Sergeant Bluff, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 at a local hospital. Visitation with family present will be held from 5:30 – 7:30 pm Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Avenue, and A Time of Remembrance will be held at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Steve was born on June 8, 1954 in Laurens, Iowa, the son of Jack and Pat Hough. He married Marsha Lynn Camerer on October 19, 1974, and together they brought three boys into this union. Steve worked for Knox Gelatin for many years and then later in the accounting department at Tyson. He also owned various businesses over the years. Steve was on the Sergeant Bluff City Council for many years in the late 1980’s.

Steve loved spending his time with his family. His favorite pastimes were fishing, boating, and shooting.

Survivors include his sons Ryan (Sarah) Hough of Vermillion, South Dakota and Adam (Stacia) Hough of Sergeant Bluff; his grandchildren, Morgan, Allison, and Miles; his brother Allan (Christine) Hough of Whiting, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marsha, and son Shawn.
