Steven Todd Bennett, 61, of Sioux City, IA, passed away February 20, 2024 at a local hospital.  A Graveside Service will be held Friday, June 28th at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Steven was born on September 12, 1962 in Sioux City, IA to Donald and Roma "Jean" (Barker) Bennett.  He graduated from East High School in 1981 and enlisted in the United States Army.  After the Army, he began his career in construction, working at various construction companies in Sioux City, most recently working for Sioux City Brick.  He was a hard worker and always went to work.  Steven was a very kind, funny person, and was a tremendous hard worker throughout his life.  He loved camping, fishing with family and friends, and was a big Vikings fan.

Those left to honor his memory include his siblings: Tami Cason, Teri (Scott) Thompson, Tracey Muston all of Sioux City, IA; Kelli (Steve) Bentson of Lawton, IA, and David (Jennifer) Bennett of Seattle WA; aunts, uncles, numerous nieces and nephews and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kevin; paternal grandparents; Elizabeth and Henry Bennett; maternal grandparents: Norma and Don Struble and Lloyd Barker; and his partner, Mary Beth Built.
