Sondra L. Farrell, 81 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Accura Healthcare in Sioux City, Iowa. Private family services and interment was held earlier at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Sondra was born on May 20, 1942, in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Carl and Leona (Schmidt) Speulda. She attended the Pine County School in Pine, Minnesota. In 1957 Sondra was married to Gene Kelling.

Sondra moved to Sioux City in 1960 and was married to Richard Farrell, Sr. in 1961. Sondra worked at a pharmacy off of Hamilton Boulevard. Farrell’s Heating and Air Conditioning was founded in the spring of 1976 by Dick and Sondra Farrell. They retired in 1998.

Sondra enjoyed crafting, sewing and quilting over the years.

Sondra is survived by her sons, Rick Farrell and his wife Lori, Keven Farrell and his wife Jeanie and Keith Farrell and his wife Mindi, brother, Greg Case and his wife Geri, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Robert Farrell and one brother, Mike Case.
