Shirley June Bradley, 88, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at her residence. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Paul Johnston officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Shirley was born on June 7, 1927 in Sioux City, the daughter of John F. and Bertha L. White. Shirley grew up on a farm in Sioux Point S.D, later known as Dakota Dunes, SD. The family moved to Jefferson, SD, where Shirley finished her schooling. She then worked at Knapp Spencer Hardware and then for Aalfs Manufacturing. Shirley married John Bradley on August 11, 1946 in Sioux City. John passed away on January 1, 2009 after 63 years of marriage.

Shirley was an longtime active member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she taught primary Sunday school for many years, was a member of Esther Bacon Circle, the Mr. and Mrs. Club, and Secondary School Teachers Association.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Sylvia Tryon of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and one sister.
