Sherry Lucile Nash, 80, of Sioux City, IA, passed away peacefully February 25, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.  A memorial service will be held Monday, March 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Sherry was born on December 17, 1944, in Sioux City, IA to Lawrence and Mary (Woolworth) Wilcox. She graduated from Central High School in 1964 and was united in marriage to Robert Nash on April 23, 1966, in Sioux City. Together they enjoyed listening to oldies and going for car rides.  He preceded her in death in 2015.  Sherry worked as a housekeeper for Matney’s and St. Luke’s for many years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time in her yard where she fed the birds and squirrels. Sherry loved spending time and visiting with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Robyn Childers of Sioux City, Lorie (Lance) Hawks of South Sioux City, Robert C. (Jana) Nash Jr. of Sioux City, and Rori Shoulders of Sioux City, who was like a daughter to her; grandchildren, Brandon Thelen, Matt Thelen, Zane Childers, Jacob Childers, Natasha Nash, Eric Christopher Allen, Joshua Allen, Brandon Hawks, and Kyla; great-grandchildren, Michael McGarry and Mallorie McGarry; Scarlett Gentry, and Nash Allen.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Robert.
