Sheri R. Woods, 63 of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at her residence. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 am Wednesday, December 11th at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Sheri was born on August 29, 1961 in Ida Grove, Iowa the daughter of Glenn and Lois (Carstensen) Deiber. She graduated from the Schleswig-Ricketts High School in 1979. Sheri then continued her education at the St. Lukes School of Nursing, graduating in 1982.

Sheri was united in marriage to Russell Woods on October 3, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, later at the Clarkson Hospital, she was an RN Director at Well-Home Health in Sergeant Bluff, and most recently, RN case manager for Corvel.

Friends and family were her priorities in life. She was a member of Family and Friends once a month card club. She enjoyed traveling, going fishing, playing cribbage, and cards and also was a Kansas City Royals and Chief's fan. Sheri loved to spoil and spend time with her grandkids.

Sheri is survived by her husband Russell, daughters; Kara (Dayton) Lewis, Kylee (Christian) Roos, her grandchildren; Annabell, Quentin, Emmarie, Taymyn and Carston, and her sisters, Sharon (Mark) Hinds and Sheryl Deiber.

She is preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law, Wesley (Evelyn) Woods, beloved friend, Pamela Bolles and Scott Bolles.
