Shelia R. Reed, 65, of Sioux City, died Monday, October 3, 2016 at a local hospital. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Sheila was born on November 17, 1950 in Sioux City, the daughter of Paul and Dorothy (Berndt) Rienbold. She graduated from Lawton-Bronson High School in 1970. Sheila married Arthur McDonald on December 15, 1979 and they later divorced. Sheila married Dwight Reed on August 14, 1987 in Sioux City. Dwight passed away just eight days before Sheila.

Sheila enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and playing games. She loved the outdoors, especially fishing, and spending time with family.

Survivors include her children, Ginny (Richard) Green and Wesley Reed both of Sioux City, Christiana Reed of Sioux City, Loyed (Marie) Reed of Le Mars, Diana (Scott) Kunkel of Sioux City, Stanley (Tammy) Reed of Sioux Falls, Charmin Reed of Elk City, OK, Joanna (Jenny) Cupak of Omaha; grandchildren, Nikki, Stefani, James, Angela, Natasha, John, Kenneth, Stormie, Jordann, Lanie, Billy, Anthony, Marcell, John, Emily, Gabriell, Samantha, Jordan, Jacob, Jadyn, Jaley, Christina, Shelby, and Reed; and siblings, Paul (Sue) Rienbold and Kip Rienbold.

Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight; her parents; a daughter, Angela Reed; 2 grandchildren, Ples Kropp and Junior Kropp; and great grandson, Mason Reed.
