Sharon Kay Loffredo, 73, of Salix, passed away January 4, 2015 at her residence.
The family is respectively honoring Sharon’s wishes, with a private memorial with her immediate family. There will be no public service or visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Sharon was born on December 21, 1941, in Scottsbluff, NE to Adam & Lillian (Steinmiller) Axt. Sharon worked until she was 72 years old and enjoyed her “bakery family.” Sharon loved “The King”, testing her luck in Vegas and spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker and Jets fan. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Lisa (Scott) Carr of Allen, NE; son Michael (Pam)Loffredo of Sparks, NV; son Anthony (Eve) Loffredo of Sugar City, CO; two grandchildren Sarah (Adam) Jensen of Gretna, NE and Sharon Nicole Carr of Wayne, NE; and her great-grandchildren Haylie and William Jensen of Gretna, NE.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Adam & Lillian; and her five sisters Violet, Arlene, Vivian, Shirley and Donna.
