Sharon E. (McGinnis) Cunningham, 77, of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 after several years of illness. Memorial service will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, January 16, 2015 at Nativity Catholic Church in Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Sharon was born on November 20, 1938 to Thomas and Vera (Smith) McGinnis in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from East High School in 1957. Sharon was united in marriage to John "Jack" Cunningham on August 31, 1957. Together they moved to Northern California and raised their four children.

Survivors include her husband Jack of 58 years, sons John Jr. and Bill, daughter Cindy, and six grandchildren: Anna, Katie, and Sophia Cunningham, and Jaz, Max, and Shasta Spencer.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, son Patrick, seven sisters and four brothers.
