Sharon Lee Brandt, 79, of Sioux City, IA, passed away surrounded by her family on March 20, 2024.  Per her wishes there will be no services.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Sharon was born on September 2, 1944 in Manilla, IA to Leroy and Shirley (Christiansen) DeMey.  She was united in marriage to Fritz Brandt on June 16, 1962 and they had six children.  They settled in Sergeant Bluff, IA.  Her passions in life were gardening, plants, and her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Kevin, Jim, and Russell Brandt, Shayla Kamunen, and Danita (Shane) Smith; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; all of her siblings; son, Christopher; granddaughter, Jessica; grandsons: Nicholas and David; and ex-husband, Fritz.
