Sharon L. Aguiar, age 55, of Sioux City died Friday March 16, 2012 at a local hospital.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday March 21, 2012 at 11:00 am from Faith Christian Fellowship Family Church, 809 South Alice Street, with Rev. Bob Rasmussen officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service.
Sharon was born on December 4, 1956 in Sioux City, the daughter of Chester and Leona (Broome) Ferdig. She was a lifelong residence of Sioux City.
On March 6, 1981 Sharon was united in marriage to Felipe Aguiar. Sharon was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family and friends. Sharon loved to play bingo.
Sharon is survived by her four daughters, Shawn and her husband Jacabo Rabanales of Sioux City, Tory Peterson of Omaha, Nebraska, Angela and her husband Tomas Comano of Sioux City and Thersa Aguiar and her significant other, Jimmy Johnson, Jr., of Sioux City; her stepbrother Larry Ferdig of Council Bluffs and a daughter in-law, Tammy Broome of Sioux City; two sisters, Diana Gigaroa of Anthon, Iowa and Barbara Vires of Sioux City; 22 grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Chad Broome, three sisters, Frances, Sandy and Rhonda.
