Sharlene M. Johnson, 77 of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa passed away Monday, October 31, 2022, at a local care facility, surrounded by her family. Services will be held 10:00am Monday, November 7, 2022, at the First Christian Church, 2101 Jackson Street. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm with a prayer service at 7pm Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.

Sharlene was born February 3, 1945 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Gifford and Mildred (Polly) Keil. She graduated from Central High School in 1963. On September 12, 1985 Sharlene married Roger Johnson, where they made their home in Sergeant Bluff. She loved to bake and draw, but most of all Sharlene loved to be with her family. Sharlene was a member of the First Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband Roger Johnson, son, Chris (Cindy) Buchanan, daughter, Amy Parks, sister, Priscilla Alfredson, six grandchildren, Tamika (Aaron) Jarman, Curtis (Janelle) Parks, Cody Buchanan, Calvin Buchanan, LaShae Parks (Joshua Hansen), Cameron Buchanan, and nine great grandchildren.

Sharlene is preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, David Alfredson.
