Shane T. Haire, 50 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away April 21, 2024, at a hospital in Omaha, NE. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 27th at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.

Shane was born on May 5, 1973, to Thomas and Jolene (Wheelen) Haire. He was united in marriage to Vickie Jacobsen on July 20, 2011.  Shane enjoyed racing, fishing, bow hunting, his beer, his dogs, watching football, working on cars, building houses, gardening, and making salsa.  He especially loved his kids and grandkids.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Vickie Haire; mother,  Jolene Haire; children: Michael (Mkay Knutson) Haire, Barri (Gabby Baker) Haire, Kirk Haire, Kayla (Jeremy Boulware) Jacobsen; grandkids: Dustyn Martens and Jacob Boulware; grandma, Lila Wheelen; sisters: Wendy (Ed) Thompson and Karen Casper; brothers-in-law: Lee (Melanie) and Kirk Jacobsen; dogs: Lucky, Buster and Mojo; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas; grandma and grandpa Haire; Grandpa Wheelen; father-in-law, Leon Jacobsen; and brother-in-law, Soren Jacobsen.
