Scotty Ward Kinnaman

Scotty Ward Kinnaman, 63, of Sioux City, IA, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026 surrounded by his family. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior at Restoration Church. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Scotty was born on January 24, 1963 in Sioux City, Iowa to Leo and Charlene (Krause) Kinnaman. He graduated from North High School and was united in marriage to Wendy. Scotty worked at several places throughout Siouxland including Tyson and Royal Iron.

He was a huge Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed his flowers and gardening. Scotty was an active member of AA and was alcohol free for over 13 years and dedicated his life to helping others on the path to recovery. He adored his grandchildren and loved going to church; where he made lots of long lasting friendships.

Those left to honor his memory include his children: Christian (Phung) Kinnaman, Samantha Cooley, Nichole Dickie and Keegan (with special friend Vicki) Kinnaman all of Sioux City, IA; 3 grandchildren, sister, Kimmarie Ritchie of Sioux City, IA, brother, Dean (Wynonna) Kinnaman of Estherville, IA, and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, David Kinnaman. 

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Midwest for all of the wonderful care given to Scotty.
