Scott E. Carter, 55 of Sergeant Bluff, died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at his residence.

A Gathering to honor Scott’s life will be held from 1 - 2:30 pm at Eddie’s Bar in Sergeant Bluff.

Scott was born on December 14, 1961 in Sioux City, the son of Gary and Phyllis (Collingwood) Carter. He graduated in 1980 from the Sergeant Bluff High School. After graduation he began his 30 year career working on constructing communication towers. He began working at Horizon Wireless out of St. Louis.
Since 2013 he has been working at Ag Processing (AGP) in Sergeant Bluff.

In 2010, Scott was united in marriage to Vicki Beckers in Ft. Worth. While in Ft. Worth, Scott was involved in building the Nite Song Tower in Ft. Worth, which he received an award for his efforts.

Scott is survived by his wife Vicki; his daughters Kailey Carter and Shelby Carter; his grandchildren, Chase and Brooklyn; his mother, Phyllis Carter (Nancy Carter); his brother Matt (Chrissy) Carter; and his sister, Belinda (Brian) Pollock.

The family is requesting no flowers.
