Sandy Marie (Witkowski) Stowe, age 53, of Sioux City died on Thursday evening December 29, 2011 at a local hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held on Monday January 2, 2012 at 7:00pm from Rustin Avenue United Methodist Church with Pastor Sylvia Kennedy officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-8 pm at the church. Ms Stowe will be cremated following the service and visitation with interment to occur at a later date. Sandy was born on January 25, 1958 in Sioux City the daughter of Stanley and Stefania (Wojkowska) Withowski. She attended Grant Elementary, Woodrow Wilson, and North High School. Sandy worked at John Morrall for a period of time until she became disabled.
She enjoyed camping with her family, going to the riverboat, her flowers, being outside, visiting with friends and neighbors. She was a Huge fan of the Green Bay Packers.
She will be missed by her family which includes her loving companion for the past 22 years David Fuller of Sioux City, her son Alex and his significant other Mikki, two brothers Stan Withkowski and his special friend Sharon Bouquest of Colorado Springs, Colorado, John Withkowski and his wife Kristen of Sioux City, her sisters Helen Jandt and her husband Randy of Sioux City, and Christine Huisman and her her husband Al of Sioux City, her sister-in-law Vickie Withkowski, along with several nieces, nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Richard.
